Burkina 24 has featured the work of new SAAF grantee partner ONIDS – preventing the harmful effects of unsafe abortion on young women in Burkina Faso. ONIDS has been forming an alliance of health care providers and local leaders, with President Cécile Thiombiano stating: “with the help of those responsible for health services, we need to lift the taboo, we must break the silence”.
