Meet the people involved in some of SAAF’s supported projects.

The Centre for Solutions Journalism (CSJ News) based in Blantyre, Malawi is an NGO founded by media specialists that advocates for abortion law reform through community engagement and the mass media.

ICRH-M works towards improving sexual and reproductive health in Mozambique. Since first receiving SAAF funding in 2020, ICRH-M has now provided over 3000 people with safe abortion and post-abortion care.

Funded by SAAF since 2020, Tamtang Group advocates for improved access to safe abortion in Thailand and has been an instrumental voice in the successful campaign to liberalise the law. Tamtang provides support to thousands of people seeking information and access to services via their confidential abortion hotline.

Si Mujer is a feminist organisation based in Cali, Colombia and has been funded by SAAF since 2017. As well as providing reproductive health care services through their dedicated feminist clinic, they also run a highly successful youth leadership programme.

PFPPA is the leading sexual and reproductive health and rights organisation working in Palestine. They were funded by SAAF from 2014 to 2020.

Lady Mermaid's Bureau is a small sex-workers' rights organisation based in Kampala. They started their SAAF supported project in 2014 and have trained thousands of sex-workers on their sexual and reproductive rights and how to avoid unsafe abortion.
